This British Standard is broken into individual tests; BS EN597/1 (Cigarette) and BS EN597/2 (Match), with contract furniture having to comply with and pass BS 6807 (Flame Retardant).  BS 6807 is also known as the ‘Crib 5’ or ‘Source 5’ test.

The supplementary standard does not guarantee that the contract furniture is entirely fireproof, but dramatically reduces the risk of ignition. Compliance with Crib 5 ignition tests is indicated by the furniture manufacturer via a blue information label and serves as a guarantee.

Please note:

• All Mattresses are best rested on Platform Top Bases to help equally support the spring system
• Mattresses are designed to contour individually to the contours of the body, giving even support. They will in the same way follow the contours of your base. Old bases may look or appear to be sound but in most cases they are not and reduce the life of the mattress. If the base is not replaced then a base board must be used
• All Divan Beds and Mattresses are made to order to your specification on receipt of your order

DELIVERY LEAD TIMES

Standard Delivery 7 - 21 Working Days

If you need a bed sooner, we can often deliver within just a few days! Our supplier delivers to us every Thursday and we carry out local deliveries on Thursdays too – Meaning urgent orders could arrive in as little as 24 Hours (Depending on the time of week the order is placed)

These times may vary during busy periods or unforeseen circumstances out of our control. You will be informed accordingly.

DELIVERY AREAS

LOCAL - Blackpool and Fylde Coast (1 or 2 Man)

This includes FREE Delivery and Setup to the room of your choice.

SURCHARGE AREAS

Deliveries outside our local area will be assessed individually on the availability of service we can provide.

A third party courier is sometimes used to deliver direct from the Manufacturer, and may only be delivered to your door

SURCHARGES

These surcharges are purely passed on at cost from the manufacturers for direct home delivery and the prices are completely out of our hands

ACCEPTING DELIVERY 

Access must be clear from obstruction to help delivery run smoothly. If access to your room requires an item to be forced through a space smaller than what is required, the Courier Reserves the Right to refuse to carry your delivery upstairs. It is advised that Mattresses are not to be bent as this could cause damage to the internal system and void any manufacturers guarantee. If you have any concerns about access to your premise’s please inform us at the time of purchase.

Once you have been given a Delivery Date, please ensure someone is in to accept delivery as a signature is required for proof of delivery. Whilst we understand our customers have other commitments, we kindly request that exceptions are made to avoid disappointment. Failure to keep to the delivery arrangements may result in the delivery being unsuccessful and could incur additional charges.

In the unlikely event of a faulty, damaged or incorrect item, please report to us immediately providing photographic evidence to help us resolve the situation as quickly as possible.
